Outstanding OFSTED for Fitzgerald Fostering

We’re delighted to announce that Fitzgerald Fostering has been rated Outstanding by OFSTED following our recent inspection. Significantly, this is our third consecutive OFSTED Outstanding rating, which means we have held this coveted standard since 2018.

The OFSTED Inspector recognised Fitzgerald Fostering as Outstanding across all criteria: overall experiences and progress of young people; how well children and young people are helped and protected, and the effectiveness of leaders and managers.

The inspection report highlights that children in Fitzgerald Fostering placements “make exceptional progress because they are cared for by compassionate and resilient foster carers and because of the excellent support that the agency provides.” It identifies an “excellent safeguarding culture” at Fitzgerald Fostering and cites the “compassionate, child-focused leadership team” as an “inspiring strength”.

The training and guidance Fitzgerald Fostering provides results in foster carers feeling “empowered, knowledgeable and supported to deliver safe, informed, high-quality care to children”. This enables placement stability and contributes to children “thriving and achieving well in all areas of their life”.
